EXPERIENCED PARENT AND WRITER
Paula Dennholt founded Easy Baby Life in 2006 and has been a passionate parenting and pregnancy writer since then.
Her parenting approach and writing is based on studies in cognitive-behavioral models and therapy for children and her experience as a mother of two children, stepmother of one, and a close relationship with three other kids - six children in total, with different personalities and needs. Life as a parent has convinced her of how crucial it is to put relationships before rules. She strongly believes in positive parenting and a science-based approach.
ASSISTED BY MEDICAL EXPERTS
As time has gone by, many parents have come to Easy Baby Life and asked questions about their parenting concerns. Some times these questions are health-related, and therefore Paula has a team of medical doctors and pediatricians that review and/or write these articles, to ensure the content is correct. You can find her medical review team here.
EDUCATION
Paula studied for a Ph.D. in Economics at UCSB, CA, and at Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden and holds an Economie Licentiate in Environmental Economics. These studies taught her how to read and do research, which is of great value also when assessing research studies on parenting and pregnancy.
In addition, she has studied writing, child psychology, and intercultural psychology. Her passion for parenting and pregnancy makes her constantly read new research and studies about these topics.
OTHER INTERESTS
When she is not writing, she loves spending time in nature and traveling to new places. Her youngest child was only five when they spent a month in India.
