Thousand Hills in Branson, MO

In July 2008, we took a family vacation to Branson, Missouri with my parents, my sister, and her family.
There were six adults, an eight year old, an almost 2 year old, and our little girl who was just four months old.
My Mom made arrangements for us to stay at Thousand Hills; a golf course/condo community not too far from the Branson strip. Each unit at Thousand Hills is privately owned and appointed much like a home would be. The unit we had contained three bedrooms, three full baths, a living area, a small dining area, a kitchen, a washing machine, and a dryer.
This was a great place for us to stay because there was plenty of space and each family was able to have their own room and bathroom, so we could spread out a little and get comfortable.
The proximity of a grocery store, Wal-mart, places to eat, and attractions also made Thousand Oaks a great choice. The kitchen, washer, and dryer also made the condo at Thousand Hills ideal.
It was easy to make formula and keep it cold, and we didn’t have to worry if the baby spit up on one too many outfits because we could always wash what was dirty.
Having our "own" condo for the week also gave us lots of flexibility. We could sleep in if we wanted or get up early and head out for the day.
Housekeeping was available if there was anything we needed, but they didn’t come in everyday like a hotel maid would have.
Overall, it was a great vacation and I really thing staying at Thousand Hills had a lot to do with it being so nice.
