The Pool

I have now almost 8 yr old twins (girl, boy) and they are very different. We have always loved going to the pool. My little girl is an excellent swimmer (she was about fair back then) very independant loves to go out very far in the water and generally make her mom nervous.

My little boy is a clinger, does not like his head to get wet does not like to let go of me, to this day whenever we go out into deeper waters he repeats over and over don't let me, don't let me go.


So back when they were just about 3 years old we were at the pool on one nice summer day. My daughter and I were enjoying the water having a good old time and my son would not come in, just stayed up on the deck. I repeatitively asked him to come in even tried to "pull" and trick him in.

So finally I turned to my daughter and asked her "Why won't Jojo come in the water" (heck there twins right maybe she knows something). She looks right at me and with absolutely no hesitation says.... "Cause he's a witch". Yeah I guess we've watched Wizard of Oz one too many times! :)
