The Entry of My Little Prince

I delivered my first baby boy in Sharjah, UAE.

22/08/04 was a big day for us as the EDD given to me was also 22nd and I had no pains til then. I got admitted at the hospital at around 2pm and was given a pain inducing injection. Slowly minor contractions started occurring and then started increasing. I was in labor.

They tied the belt on my tummy to keep a check on heart beat of my baby. The nurse removed the water from the bag via a pipe or something and after I felt like my baby was coming down she took me to the labor room.

I was asked to push down but I could not, the doctor felt the contractions were reducing and the heart beat of baby vibrating so she used forceps.

When the baby came out I got a slippery feeling from below and that was also the happiest moment of my life. She announced it was a baby boy and before I became unconscious I just saw his tiny face and the nurse cleaning him.

My baby was 3.6 kgs at birth. Now he is 3.9 and I can't believe it.
