The Day My Baby Was Born

I was waiting for the moment for my baby to come out of my womb. It was my first delivery and I had read all about it, but to finally experience it is something different. I had my delivery two weeks before the due date so it was unexpected.

I had the pain but I thought it to be an upset stomach so I ignored it. Later it started coming consequently until I couldn't bear it any more. I told my parents about it and they immediately hired a taxi and we where of to the hospital.

On the way we were stuck in a traffic jam. I thought I may die if I was to wait for the traffic to clear. There was an alternate road which was blocked by stones for road repair, my father seeing me cry out of pain, without giving a second thought of breaking the rule removed the stones and rode the car in the direction.

We finally reached the hospital. I was immediately taken to the delivery room. The duty doctor in charge complained for coming so late. My doctor arrived right away and my baby came out at once. When I heard her cry I felt very relieved. There she was lying beside me weaning.

Now she is two years old.
