My baby girl is 7 months old and is really irritable she is only really settled for 5 min before she starts to whinge. I think she may be teething but we have tried EVERYTHING that's out there for baby teething nothing seems to help... She has also started crying at 4am I first thought this was teething but surely she wouldn't wake at the same time every morning after 5 min cry she does go back to sleep.

Can you help?

It could be teething. Some babies are awaken by the pain and then fall back asleep. But if she is that uncomfortable you may want to let you pediatrician know that it is affecting her sleep. It may also be gas. A lot of babies get gas at this age because you are introducing so many new foods. Mylicon drops help with gas. She may also have a touch of reflux. This will make babies irritable and wake them up at night. Their stomach acid burns their throat and causes them discomfort. Since she is uncomfortable enough to wake out of a sleep you may want to let your pediatrician know. Best Wishes. LIZ
