So I just posted a question. My second son is exactly the same. However, he is 14 months old now and it is still happening. But it is only when I am around. He won't let go of me, clings, and wails. Even at 14 months he still seems so unhappy. I had so much fun with my first son b/c he was so content about everything. I feel like I am constantly struggling with my little guy and not enjoying his toddlerhood like I should be. Plus his crying is getting to my oldest. Ugh. I keep wondering if maybe something is seriously wrong. I just don't know what to do anymore.

That must have been such a tough period for you! Wonderful though that you can say afterwards that it actually brought your family closer rather than the opposite.
