Rashes on my baby's face

My baby boy is 4 months old he is breast fed, for the first time I introduced formula s26 gold ... with in few seconds he got rashes all over his face and neck ..... is this the effect of formula?

 Possible milk allergy

Hi Siri,

What you are describing, with a sudden onset of rashes, could be an effect of milk allergy. While it is mush more common that the reactions are slow, sudden reactions also exist.

However, if you have been breastfeeding and eating dairy products and your son has not reacted on that, the rashes might not be related to the formula.

In any case, I think you should schedule a visit to his doctor to discuss the issue. The doctor might suggest a soy based or hypoallergenic formula instead. (Or the two of you can rule out that the rash had anything to do with the formula.)
