The Botanical Garden In Ooty

My name is Abitha Ramkumar. I have a three year old little angle named Nidhisrii Varshini.

Last December we went on a tour to Ooty in Tamilnadu,India. It is one of the best trips I've had with my dear angle. We stayed there for a weak period.

My child enjoyed a lot in Ooty. She loved to go boating. One evening we all went to botanical garden, she was very much interested to be there with Micky Mouse and Scooby-Dooby-Doo. Ooty is nice place to visit with our children.

First review outside the US -Ooty

Hi Abitha!

Thank you for your interesting tip about traveling to Ooty! This was actually the first review for a place outside the US.

Love it!

I've been to Kerala, Goa and some other places around India, but never to Tamilnadu. It actually took me a little while to figure out where Ooty is. The city is also called Ootacamund or Udagamandalam, which can be good to know for anyone searching for information about the place.

In addition to the botanical garden, other interesting tourist spots are the Ooty lake, and the Ooty mountian railway, which is actually on the world heritage list. Sounds like a place worth visiting!
