Pavithra's Cat Walk

by meera devi
(India)

My daughter Pavithra was four years old.She was studying in KG in the school where I was also working.she used to look plumpy and cute,so everyone loved her as though she was their own kid.She was so carefree that she never felt the school as a public place where she should follow certain norms.Nobody cared her to follow this.

One day after the school hour she felt too hot as it was a hot summer day. So she went to her teacher. She asked the teacher to remove her uniform. The kind teacher dutifully removed the clothes and let her walk out only with her underwear. She was casually walked, actually swinged her bums and was walking with her fingers in mouth.

She suddenly came near the principal's cabin, nobody expected this. Before someone could stop her, she popped into the room. The principal was astonished to see a cute toddler swinging into his room. He smiled at her when he recognized who she was. My girl returned his smile and told,

"Hi,old man! Come out,let us play."

Imagine the situation. The man was famous for his short temper.

The news was flashed to me immediately. I was frozen in fear. As everyone expected he called me to his room. I went into his cabin expecting firings. But to my surprise, rather shock, he smiled and gave a color pencil box as a token of his affection!!!

Today the same story is repeated to her son,my grand son,in different version.
