Navel Problem

Navel Problem

Since my baby was born one year and three months later his navel is still bleeding. When he was born, the place where the placenta was cut was bleeding. It stopped after sometime and now it is back.It is itching and now even after taking him for medication, they say they don't know what is wrong.

WHAT is this how can this be solved? please help?

It seems like his navel is just opening up again. When my sons opened up again they put silver nitrate on it and it closed it up within two days. Just make sure it does not get infected and keep it dry as possible. The pediatrician should check it out to make sure there is not a hernia causeing it to reopen. It it drains pus, turns really red, or if he starts to run a fever call your pediatrician right away. Hope he feels better soon, LIZ
