MYRTLE BEACH!

This May I recently went to Myrtle Beach with my 11 month old son, along with his 3 year old sister. I wasn’t sure if they would like it because the ocean can be a daunting monster for someone so small.

However, we stayed at a resort called Ocean Creek Resort. The name gives a hint as to why it was a good fit for my children.

Right behind the hotel was the beach, however, the ocean fed into a shallow creek that ran through the sand. This was a perfect, and safe, play-place for young children.

In addition, there were many pools to choose from, including a small pool for children. The May weather was mild and it was bearable to be outside during what would usually be a sunburn disaster.

I would recommend this vacation to parents with babies, as my 3 year old constantly begs to go back!

Ocean Creek Resort was great with kids!

We just recently visited the Ocean Creek Resort at Myrtle Beach too. We have a 2 year old toddler, and the hotel was perfect for us.

Myrtle Beach is wonderful and the resort has a kiddie pool and playground and our daughter loved both. Actually she loves being in a large pool too, so we could do both.

They have condos and villas of different sizes, so it is possible to fit in both small and large families.

There are a lot of things to do nearby too, in addition to the beaches.

For example, you have the Ripley's Aquarium, the Childrens' Museum, the Alligator Adventure and many more places.

We'll go back next year!
