My Three Month Baby Cut His Milk All Of A Sudden
My three month old baby stopped drinking milk from his first vaccination. 2 days back he got second one. Baby Help Line Response: Hi Mom! For how long has he been doing this? Babies can be quite affected by their vaccinations, but usually it passes after a few days. With my first child, her vaccinations were the only time she slept through the night during her first year... Almost made me long for the next vaccination ;-) Anyway, if your son continues to have a really poor appetite, I think you should contact his health care provider (who gave him the shot). You should also weigh him to see if he is loosing or gaining weight. Babies appetite can vary quite a bit and it is easy get become worried. Babies that are sick, even just having a cold, can become very picky for a while. Usually, this passes, and instead they eat more than ever for a while almost as if they know that they need to compensate. I think what you're doing is good; try offering milk as often as possible, but don't try to force him to drink. Most likely things will go back to normal within days, otherwise contact a doctor (or if your son seems to be ill of course). Good luck! /Paula The information provided on this site is not intended nor recommended as a substitute for professional medical advice.
