My 13 month Old Had Cradle Cap

She has cradle cap on top of her head and now the hair is thinning in those areas. Is this normal?

Hi,

The actual cradle cap doesn't thin the hair, but the parents' combing and scraping might. ;-)

If your baby still has cradle cap, try an ointment with borage oil, it the most effective treatment I've ever tried for my babies. You can read more about that and other cradle cap remedies here.

And if your daughter's hair seems to be thinning a lot, let a Dr have a look at it.
