I Am Nine Weeks Pregnant - Baby Looks

I had an ultrasound and my baby has no legs or arms yet. Is something wrong or it just growing slow? I am 9 weeks pregnant.

Hard to see...

Hi Farrah,

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that your baby has no arms and legs. An ultrasound this early usually doesn't show much detail at all. If lucky, one can spot arm buds, but it isn't certain. Also, this early what you see is very dependent on how sure you are of when you actually got pregnant. One week wrong makes a huge difference to how well developed the fetus is.

If you have been to an ultrasound and got strange comments or comments that you are worried about from the Dr, don't hesitate to call him or her and ask them to explain what they said.

Early pregnancy is usually a combination of great excitement and lots of worries anyway, so do what you can to mitigate any unnecessary worries.

9 weeks pregnant

Are you sure you are 9 weeks pregnant? I am 9 1/2 weeks and had an ultrasound yesterday. Baby was very active and moving its arms and legs. I even got an ultrasound picture of the foot.
