Yes normal
by: Baby Help Line

Hi!

If your daughter is breastfed, it is completely normal. Nothing to worry about at all. At her age, breastfed babies can have 10 days between their bowel movements.

If she is formula fed on the other hand, she could be constipated.

You'll find symptoms of constipation and some remedy tips here.

Good luck,

/Paula

Hasnt pooped

If you baby is under a year old, he or she should not be on cow or goat milk. The baby should be on formula or breastmilk. And it is normal for a baby to not poop everyday, but I would call your baby's doctor to be for sure.

Neocate?
by: Paula (Baby Help Line)

To the parent with a 2 month old with colic,

I am sorry to hear about your baby's pain and I believe you are doing the right thing to try to find a formula that agrees with his tummy. Yet another option would be Neocate. It is easily digested, and actually often covered by insurance if precribed by a doctor.

If your baby spits up a lot, one of his problems could also be acid reflux. In such case, try holding him upright while feeding him, and give him less to eat every time (but instead more often).

You can read more about infant colic and possible remedies here.

Hope this helps,

Paula
