Good News After Pregnancy!

by Natalia
(Canada)

I have 3 weeks old baby girl. I'm surpried how not true (for me) what a lot of people were saying about body after labor.

I gained 20kg and lost 15 of them on the second week after delivery.

I'm breastfeeding and almost all my pants from "before pregnancy" fit me already. Eveyone is different and there is some good news that it goes away. Of course I should work on my abs now but I still have time until summer:)

Yes, I were sore down there but it is already in the past and I don't even remember that pain anymore.

Our bodies are designed to have babies. I'm in shock how everything has worked so well from getting pregnant and having a baby - a separate person! I understand that I have been very lucky.

Wish you all healthy babies and healthy bodies!

You are lucky!
by: Paula (Easy Baby Life)

Hi Natalia,

Congratulations on your little baby AND on getting your body back so quickly. I think most moms can tell you that it doesn't always happen that fast... Being able to hop into your usual trouser that quickly must feel great!

Actually the fact that you are breastfeeding is probably part of it, since breastfeeding help contracting the uterus back to its normal not-pregnant size. (If you want to learn more about the benefits of breastfeeding, click here.)

Warm wishes,

Paula
