Fort Worth ... Totally Worth It!
by Lexi C.
When we went to Fort Worth, TX, our child was 18 months. The whole town was friendly, because we went to restaurants, and every where there were lots of kids, and lots of high chairs, and very little wait.
The Fort Worth Childrens Musuem has a great section for babies. We thought we would be there for maybe a few hours, but stayed a whole day and went back the next day. Our daughter had a great time. There were a lot of activities, it was hygienic, lots of places for parents to sit, and places to store the stroller and the bag.
We went to the zoo in Dallas and I found that to be family friendly as well. I always look for places that are clean and employees that are patient, and I found that in Texas.
Fort Worth also has a lot of large stores and felt very safe. I had to make a last minute run for sunscreen and I navigated the city easily and I never felt like I would run into a bad neighborhood. I am sure there are ugly areas, but I never saw them in the touristy section.
We were really impressed with Fort Worth, and it was fun for our daughter. It was an easy trip.
