Fairytales Upon The Sea - A Disney Cruise

How many places can you really vacation with a one year old and actually have time to sit back relax and enjoy it? I personally, can definitely think of one that tops nearly every other vacation I have EVER been on, even without the baby in tow.

Jordan was 18 months when David and I decided that we needed to take our first vacation as a family. Several ideas were tossed around, but we finally came to agreement on the Disney cruise line.

After doing a little research, I discovered that they offer an entire host of entertainment for all ages, including a full nursery experience for the littlest of little ones.

Flounder's nursery aboard the Disney Magic ship is AMAZING! You can feel completely safe and secure knowing that your child is in the hands of more than capable staff and crew who will seek out and go above and beyond to meet their every need. While mommy and daddy enjoy their much needed adult centered quiet dinner at Palo restaurant located on the top deck.

Parents of children all ages will discover that their children will be so well looked after, they wont want to leave. And who would with one on one time with your favorite Disney characters, a computer lab, and even an area where kids are taught to create their very own flubber!

We were blown away with the attentive service we received, and while the little one was napping at flounder's, we were able to visit the adult only portions of the boat, where you will find relaxing pools and hot tubs, soothing massage and spa treatments and of course an array of ice cold libations!

In addition to having an infant friendly pool on board the ship, even their own private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay has a beach and play area designed specifically with the little ones in mind!

We were treated to outstanding service, exquisite food, world class entertainment and the best part of it all was that Jordan was able to be more than just a worry, she was a piece of the puzzle that made this family vacation a complete success!!!!
