Day Out with Thomas The Train and Baby

I am the mother of two wonderful kids who are three years apart. Not always a wonderful experience finding baby friendly travel arrangements.

Last year our three year old son wanted desperately to see Thomas the Train so we decided to take the entire family, including our three month old daughter. We were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the trip and the entire experience was for our family.

We visited Thomas the Train in Boone, Iowa, at the Railway Museum. We did not have to pay for our daughter to get into the event, ride the train, or any other activity. They were very pleasant and accommodating in helping us onto the train ride with both kids and a place to park our stroller and all of our other gear.

The crew working this event couldn't have been more friendly to both of our kids and other families as well...even smiling when our three year old had the mother of all tantrums.
