Cough, Sneezing, Crying, Ahh

My 6 month old boy has just recently started jumping in scares or crying when someone close sneezes or coughs. He will either cry or jump. He has never been like this till recently and I don't know what I can do to help him not be scared or cry. Please help with some advice.

Normal!
by: Baby Help Line - Paula

Hi,

It sounds to me as if your baby is simply developing and becoming more aware of his surroundings. Many babies at or around this age develop some kind of stranger anxiety, and being very scared of certain sounds, even certain voices, can be part of it.

SO just focus on helping your little son becoming more secure by holding him a lot, telling that it is OK and not force him into situation that he are scared of. He'll grow out of it.

Warm wishes,

Paula
