Constipation in 6 Weeks Old

My baby boy is 6 weeks old. He hasn't had a poo since wednesday. I've tried cool boiled water with orange juice. Warm water with sugar. Can you help me out plesase.

Hi Sheryl!

Is your boy in pain? If not, you might just wnat to wait for a while.

If he is breastfed, he is not likley to be constipated (jus growing), but if he is formula fed, then of course it could be an issue.

In case you baby is really showing signs of constipation, there are several additional remedies you can use, such as prune juice. For more remedies, click here
