Baby Urine Issues - Too Often?

My baby is 1 year & 4 months. She passes urine 2 -3 times in a half an hour. Is it a problem?

Hi,

A toddler might very well pee often, especially if using diapers. Diapers are of such high quality that the child doesn't get wet and the peeing isn't a big issue at all. As soon as some urine has gathered in the bladder, the baby pees.

But if your daughter has recently started to pee more frequently, and especially if you notice that the urine is colored, you should have her checked by a doctor to rule out any urinary tract infection or skin irritation around the vaginal area. Though very uncommon, it might be wise to check for sugar in the urine too to rule out diabetes. Diabetes is however also noticed by weight loss and large amounts of urine, which you write nothing about.

Anyway, most likely, there is nothing be worried about, but check with her doctor to be on the safe side.

my baby boy is 9 months old his pee is 3to 4 times in day and also he feel sometime difficult to pass the urine is it normal

My baby also passed urine for 4/5 times per hour from her earlier ages to year 2. Now she is ok. So do not afraid of that. It's a normal thing.
