Baby Strains and Kicks And Stops Eating Off And On From Bottle

A few times during the day while feeding my 4 mt old, she is very restless, kicking, grunts, and strains. She stops sucking off and on. Other bottles are easily taken. Any suggestions as to why she is doing this or what I can do to help?

Hi!

To me it sounds as if your daughter has swallowed too much air and is in pain or discomfort because ot it. Try pausing to burp her.

Babt strains and kicks and stops eating....

My little girl just turned 5months old. She started doing this a few days ago. She also has cut her first tooth. She started this before the tooth appeared and is still doing this eventhough the tooth has come in. I am wondering if this has anything to do with pain while sucking due to teething.

My daughter does this as well, but it is because they are excited and have energy! Also they stop sucking because they like to listen to the things around them. They are becoming more and more aware of their surroundings at this age!!
