Baby Hurt From Hits In My Belly When Pregnant?

I'm seven months pregnant and was hit in my belly with a glass vase 10 times but my baby is still moving and now I have a lost of appetite?

Easy Baby Life:

Hits In The Belly While Pregnant

It sounds like your baby is fine and loss of appetite is most of the time not unusual in pregnancy. You should definitely see a doctor though and get an ultrasound just to make sure the baby's head or other vital parts have not been damaged.

Now I don't know your situation and I may be wrong but I want to briefly discuss something that bothered me when reading this. I feel like I should tell you this and you can disregard it if I am wrong and it does not apply to you.

Domestic violence is not something you or your baby deserves and if someone is hitting you or harming you or your unborn child in anyway you should leave.

I will give you the number to an anonymous free domestic abuse hotline that can help you if you need it and I pray that you get out of a violent situation if you are in one. The number is 1-800-799-7233. The website features a lot of things that can help you as well and even provides a "quick escape" button you can click if someone you don't want to see the site comes up behind you.The site is http://www.thehotline.org Again, please do not wait. There is a way out.

Take care,
Paula

Call your doctor!
by: Sara

The guidance I was given when i had my first prenatal appointment was any accident or trauma to my stomach, including minor fender benders, were to be reported to my doctor IMMEDIATELY, so she could decide the proper course of action. Call your doctor, do not wait, do not try to justify not calling or worry about being whiny, your doctor wants to know these things so he/she can better help you deliver a healthy baby.

I also agree with Paula, I don't know your situation, I don't know you, but getting hit that many times in the same place is not an accident. You don't deserve that and neither does your child. Get help, and if the situation is at home, get out, before it is too late for you or your baby. There are people willing to help you.

Take care of yourself and good luck,

Sara
