Less clothes?
by: Baby Help Line

Hi,

I assume your son doesn't seem to be ill during daytime or has a fever at bedtime...

For some reason, babies often don't need much clothes or warm blankets at night. Could it be that your son is simply too warm, because he is wearing too much clothes (or blankets)?

I am often amazed by how little babies can wear at night and still be content, while I would be freezing wearing the same.

Try putting him to sleep in only a pajama, no blankets or sheets and see if it helps. Or try to lower the temperature in his bedroom.

If this is not at all the problem; nightmares could also be a reason for him waking up and wanting to remain in your arms.

In such case it will pass and you might want to consider letting him fall asleep next to you for a while to make him feel safe.

Hope this helps, if not, write again!

Pala
