Baby Care Tips in Have An Easy Baby Life! February 05, 2008 |
| Hi ! Hi! Are you back in real life after the holidays? I am. Working, spending time with my family and trying to endure the dark, cold months... Well, one thing that is really great, is that the interest for my Internet baby; Easy Baby Life, is growing rapidly. Welcome to all new subscribers this month, there are quite a few of you! This month I've been busy with writing tips related to daily baby care as well as answering an increasing number of questions at the Baby Help Line. Big thanks to all of you moms who have started to answer questions as well. The quality and experience you provide is simply awesome! Next month, I will start adding a whole new section to Easy Baby Life; Giving Birth. (Yawn, yawn, been there done that... you might be thinking.) Well, just maybe you'll do it again or you have a great Birth Story to share with the world :-) Have fun with your baby! //Paula New Tips at Easybabylife.com
What did your baby look like when he or she entered the world? Fantastic, of course, but more? Read here about funny head shapes, weird skin conditions, bruises and more and it's all normal!
Umbilical Cord Stump Care The umbilical cord stump only needs care for between 1 and 3 weeks when the baby is newborn, then it's gone. But in that short time, many parents worry about it and how to care for it. Well, the below article guides you through these weeks and hopefully answers most of your questions.

Diaper Rash
Most babies get diaper rash from time to time, regardless of diaper brand (although changing to a new brand might help some times). Learn how to prevent and treat diaper rash, what it really is and when you need to see a doctor. Swaddling Your Baby If you're wondering why or how to swaddle a baby or how to stop swaddling, this article will show you.

Baby Care is important, but so is Mom Care as well as Relationship Care. So to balance the baby focus, this month's poll is about you and your spouse... "How long did it take after giving birth before you started having sex again?" I think this is such an important issue I decided to keep the poll up for two months! (And don't worry, your answer is completely anonymous... :-) )

This month I've stumbled upon several interesting ways to spend some money. I'll share two of them with you here.
My first and most serious tip is an ebook that I just discovered. Written by a photographer, it is about taking great pictures of babies. It's a really useful ebook and the only "bad" thing I can say about it is that it is quite long, some 75 pages. But it is so well structured that I found it easy to use even without reading all of it at once.

It sounds quite cheezy, but it's fun and helpful. You pay a small fee and get a 3 months' membership which allows you to upload as many photos of yourself (and your spouse, bride's maide, mother in law or whoever) as you like and you can try out thousands of different hairstyles and colors. You can also get their advice on what type of hairstyle should suit you depending on your hair quality, the shape of your face etc.
During February, they have a promotion going on and you get 10% off at signup if entering the coupon code FEBHAIR. Follow the link below to check it out.
