8 Month Old Runny Poop Very Smelly

My 8 month old has had loose stool and it smells VERY bad worst than ever before! She has one tooth and you can see 2 more trying to come in! The doctor just says its probably teething bothering her.....from the smell of things I just want others opinions because I'm a first time mommy.

Hi,

I agree that teething might be the reason.

Other possibilities would be that she is reacting to something new that you have added to her diet or of course a stomach infection. But in the latter case, yo would probably see other signs of illness as well.

But if the diarrhea doesn't go away within a few days, take her back to the doctor for examination.

Also make sure to offer her lost of liquid so that she doesn't get dehydrated.
