7 Month Old With A Cold And Vomiting

My 7 month old has had a cold for the past three days and seemed better today. Tonight she went to sleep and about an hour later woke vomiting. She vomited four times in an hour in decreasing amounts and there was mucus in it each time. She then nursed a little and fell back asleep. I'm guessing she was just clearing the mucus out of her stomach. Any thoughts or help? Thanks!

Hi there,

Poor girl. I do agree with you though, if the vomiting hasn't continued, then it was likely due to the mucus. It is quite common that babies do vomit in such situations.

Hopefully everything is going in the right direction now and your little girl will soon be well again!
