Runny Nose For A Week
by: Baby Help Line

Colds, or upper respiratory infections (URI) are one of the most common and contagious reasons of illness in infants and young children. They are caused by viral infections and do not need treatment with antibiotics. They usually last 7-14 days.

Since she has had the cold for several days and has started to run a fever you need to have her check by your pediatrician.

She may have developed an infection that requires treatment with antibiotics. She may have a sinus infection or an ear infection from her cold lasting so long. When Kids are sick their bowel habits can change. Once she is feeling better she should start her routine back. Hope your little one feels better soon.
