3 Month Old Suddenly Spitting Up A lot

My 3 month old daughter is on meds for reflux because doc suspects GERD, however, she never used to spit up EVERYTHING she ate...

Starting about 12 hours ago, she will only eat for a second, then a minute later spits everything up. She wont even drink water and I worry she'll become dehydrated. I know it's only been a day but I worry!

I will call the doc tomorrow, but for peace of mind, does anyone have any suggestions?

She is sleeping for now, but I know she'll wake in a couple hours hungry but unable to eat and I am already anxious about this. Is this common? A bug maybe or just a normal infant behavior??

Thanks so much. BTW no fever or diarrhea

3 month reflux

Hi Meg,

I'm so sorry to hear of your difficulties with your little girl. It makes life pretty tough! If you haven't already, I think you need get her checked out again, a little baby can dehydrate very quickly.

Good luck with her, hopefully she will grow out of it shortly.
